Mama and Me Reiki
Encourage connection and ease when it’s difficult to know what to ask for while balancing motherhood. This session will begin with a conversational check-in and opportunity to address the salient needs of mama. You and your little one will be propped on bolsters and blankets in a comfortable resting position knowing we may need to adjust as we go. We will pull an oracle card to set an intention for the hour and a carefully chosen synergy ritual oil blend for aromatherapy. We will welcome a grounding technique before dropping into the stillness of the loving Reiki energy. I will check-in periodically with you to ensure there is support for the parts of your body asking for attention. Your little one will also receive Reiki during this supportive intimate bonding experience.

Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique developed by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s and it is a subtle form of energy work. The term is derived from from the Japanese words rei, meaning “universal,” and ki, which refers to the vital life force energy that flows through all living things. This practice is not associated with any religion or religious practices. The practitioner hovers or places their hands over various parts of the receiver’s body which can promote deep ease, balance to the physical body, and a feeling of support.
When preparing for your session, wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothing. You will most likely be lying down on a massage table, and we will go over what places in the body that are asking to be nurtured and what places would prefer not to be touched. It is normal to feel warmth, vibration, or perhaps nothing at all. However, we welcome all experiences.
